I’m a born planner, a lifelong wanderer at heart, and someone who’d rather swap stories at a local café than stand in another all-inclusive buffet line.

My love affair with real travel began on my honeymoon: Aruba and Curaçao, two islands, two totally different ways to explore. In Aruba, we tried the classic all-inclusive (turns out, “resort life” felt like Vegas – fun for a night, but we craved more). So, in Curaçao, we switched to a cozy local Airbnb, wandering on foot, chatting with as many locals as we could, tasting plates of Surinamese food, and picking up phrases in Papiamento. That trip changed everything: I realized I wanted every adventure to be about connection, not just destinations.
